Nine heats of the Group 1 Centrebet Vic Peters have been drawn for this Saturday night's card at Wentworth Park.

The age classic has again drawn some of Australia's best youngsters to Wentworth Park for the 520m, three week series. With $75,000 on offer to the eventual series winner this year's event will again unearth another superstar, with the likes of Collision, Go Wild Teddy, Brother Fox and Black Top winning this event previously.

Victorian prepared Renegade Chief is amongst the most exciting prospects engaged in Saturday's heats, having won 11 of his 12 starts, the Kel Greenough trained greyhound was amongst recent Top Gun selection discussion. Renegade Chief will meet master trainer Graeme Bate's only starter for the series, Leeroy Rocker which contested the Group 2 Multiquip Bob Payne series during September.

Wentworth Park Group 1 2012 Peter Mosman winner Garrick Bale also returns for the series, spearing a ten dog team for Andrea Dailly. The Dailly team will be looking for their second Group 1 victory for the month after Spud Regis won last week's Adelaide Cup.

First race on Saturday night goes at 7.27pm, with the first heat jumping at 7.52pm. 32 greyhounds will progress to next week's semi-finals, with the final eight to line up on Novemeber 3. This Saturday night's box draw is available here
