Fresh off winning the Group 1 Bold Trease at Sandown on Friday night, Bourbski Fever will headline this Saturday's (Nov 28) Group 3 Summer Cup (720m) at Wentworth Park.

Prepared by the all conquering Andrea Dailly kennel, Bourbski Fever was impressive in her maiden Group victory at the Melbourne venue last week.

Jumping from box three, Bourbski Fever was only moderately away, shuffling back to second last in the early stages. With a tiring front runner, and some space to move the daughter of Buck Fever x Midnight Movie was able to rally late and win in impressive fashion for the $100,000 winner cheque.

Owned by Central West lads Ross Davidson and Jason Lyne, last Friday's win was a thrill of a life time.

"For Jason and I, we have dreamt from a young age of having a Group 1 finalist, led alone a winner," Davidson said immediately after the race.

Drawn in box four in Saturday's second Summer Cup heat, connections are hopeful the run of form can continue.

"It's just been so surreal," Lyne said.

"We bought Bourbski Fever from breeders David and Danielle Pringle, and we were lucky enough to be able to get her in with the Dailly's who have done a tremendous job.

"We are happy with the draw this weekend, and with two heats only having to qualify top four takes off some of the pressure," Lyne said.

Bourbski Fever meets last start winner Phantom Reign (box 2) and handy runners in Shoulders (box 3) and Zipping Echo (box 1) in the second heat.

While the opening of the Group 3 Summer Cup heats features Bold Trease finalist Kilkee Flex, prepared by Peter Dapiran, who is no stranger to Group staying events in the Harbour city. Dapiran took out last year's Summer Cup with Zipping Rory.

Kilkee Flex meetings a strong field of contenders including Sky Book (box 8), Sydney Cup winner Ada Mary (box 5) and fellow Bold Trease finalist Luna Jinx (box 6).

Saturday's racing kicks off at 7.27pm with the first of the Group 3 Summer Cup heats going at 9.10pm
