Buck Forty claimed his second Group title for 2016 when he took out the Group 1 Peter Mosman Classic at Wentworth Park on Saturday night.
The son of Buck Fever x Fancy Jaffa jumped from box two in the $75,000 to the winner event, and after stepping on terms, was able to position well behind Invictus Rapid before taking up the lead in the home straight.
In a good night for Jason Thompson, the Victorian trainer picked up the quinella, with Ritza Lenny finishing strongly for third.

Speaking after the 29.83 win, Thompson said that the victory didn't come as a surprise given the box draw.
"He drew well, and he had to find the fence as early as he did to be a chance.
"I think this track really suits him, and if this race was anywhere else he probable gets beat," Thompson.
The win took Buck Forty's career prizemoney to in excess of $250,000 and gave stud dog Buck Fever his second Group 1 victory for 2016.
Both Buck Forty and Invictus Rapid will now head to the Maturity Classic at The Meadows on July 16.
