You are invited to support to support the Peter Hughes Burn Foundation by attending our fundraiser at the Wentworth Park Greyhound Races. This event is made available with the support of the NSW Greyhound Breeders, Owners and Trainers’ Association.

The event will be held at the Wentworth Park Greyhounds at Wentworth Park Road, Glebe 2037, Level 1 Function Centre on Friday 10th June 2011.

The night starts at 6.30pm and the cost is only $95.00 per person, table of 10 for $950.00. The night includes a 3 course meal, entertainment, raffles, auctions and chocolate wheel so it will be a fun night. Come along and be part of a fun night and help us help BURN Survivors to “Live Beyond the BURN”.

The Peter Hughes Burn Foundation is a charity which assists Australian burn victims in living beyond their burn injury, becoming Burn survivors. It fulfils a crucial role in allowing Burn survivors to develop long-term social and psychological resilience. In turn, survivors are able to reintegrate back into their communities in the wake of a burn injury.

All funds raised will go towards our Living Skills Enhancement Retreats. This program is to give BURN Survivors the strength to integrate back into their community and not become a prisoner in their own home.

The effectiveness of these retreats is recognised by the medical and nursing professionals as being an essential part of the long-term recovery of a BURN Survivor. Event flyer is available here
