Pleasingly, NSW GBOTA have confirmed with GRNSW and our Venue Manager to forge ahead with general admission again, under the below conditions of entry – these will be effective immediately. We look forward to seeing you at Wenty tomorrow evening! 

  • Every person who enters the venue will be temperature tested, and must return a recording of 37.4 degrees Celsius or below in order to be granted entry.

  • Electronic check in is required for every person who enters the venue via the NSW Health approved – QR code, available at each entry point, you must show your validated check in to the gate attendant in order to enter the venue

  • Masks must be worn whilst in any indoor area of our venue*

  • All patrons must be seated whilst consuming food and beverages at all times whilst inside

  • Physical distancing must be practised (1.5m at all times inside and outside)

  • When moving around the venue to place a bet at the tote or with one of our bookies, you can not have your drink with you, please leave your drink supervised at your table

From Monday 4 January a $200 on the spot fine can apply to individuals for not wearing a mask. We will have masks available for participants and staff at entry points.

* Indoor areas includes the ground floor of the grandstand and kennels


You are not required to wear a mask if you

  • are a child aged 12 or under

  • have a physical or mental health illness or condition, or disability, that makes wearing a mask unsuitable (for example, a skin condition, an intellectual disability, autism or trauma). A medical certificate must be provided for this exemption.

You may remove your mask when you are

  • eating or drinking

  • asked to remove your mask for identity purposes.

You may also remove your mask in case of an emergency.
