The NSW GBOTA encourages owners and trainers which utilise the M2 Motorway to travel to and from Wentworth Park meetings, to plan alternate routes and leave additional travel time over the October long weekend due to advertised road works.

M2 Upgrade Project
OCTOBER LONG WEEKEND – MAJOR WORK ON THE MOTORWAY
Major road work will be undertaken during the October long weekend to construct new drains across the motorway. These essential works will require lane closures which will cause significant delays. Please click on the map in the right hand column for details of the two work locations and alternative routes.
Some on ramps will be closed to reduce the amount of traffic on the motorway. This will greatly assist with the management of traffic through the two work locations.
Please plan your journey, allow additional travel time and consider using alternative routes such as Epping Road, Carlingford Road and Pennant Hills Road.
Motorists who must travel on the motorway during this time are asked to drive with care and follow the signs. Contra-flow will be in place, which means traffic will be diverted onto the opposite carriageway.
Clearways will also be in place on the alternative routes during this time to assist with the traffic flow.
Please plan ahead and call 1800 196 266 or 132 701 or visit Live Traffic NSW to get the latest traffic information on the day. Thank you for your patience.
