CENTREBET
BILL BAKER
BULL ‘N’ BARLEY CUP
$8,000 to the winner of the Final
CONDITIONS
The conditions are framed to allow greyhounds who do not secure a start in their “preferred heat”, to be able to nominate for another heat, providing the nomination closing date for the “other” heat, is after the fields are determined for the “preferred heat”.
The eligibility conditions are:
At the time of nomination:
No more than three metropolitan wins (excluding metropolitan maidens) are allowed.
In the event a heat is abandoned, the track representative for the final will be drawn by lot. The balance of the field will be deemed to have not contested the heat and will be eligible to nominate for a heat at another venue, if the timing permits.
There is no restriction on which heat greyhounds can nominate for. If a greyhound does not secure a start in their “preferred heat”, they can nominate for another heat, only if, the closing date for the “other heat”, is after the fields are determined for the “preferred heat”. Please note: If a greyhound is drawn as a reserve in its “preferred heat” and gains a start due to scratchings, it must start in the “preferred heat”.
Greyhounds will only be allowed to contest one heat
The race is restricted to greyhounds which have had at least three (3) starts from their last ten (10) starts at “a non TAB meeting or at a TAB C meeting (or a combination of both)”.
Greyhounds with less than 10 career starts will be eligible if they meet the following criteria.
There are no residential conditions
Eight Clubs were originally chosen, having regard to the eligibility conditions and the mix has not changed.
The Final of the Centrebet Bull N Barley Cup will be conducted at Wentworth Park on Saturday night December 3.
First reserves for the Final of the Bull N Barley Cup will be the 2nd placegetter in the Bathurst Heat, whilst the second reserve will be the 2nd placegetter from the Muswellbrook Heat.
