Four exceptional Sprint and two even Distance heats have been drawn for the NSW State series of the AGRA Nationals Championships, set to be contested at Bulli next Monday night (August 6).

Racing enthusiasts will be treated to an amazing display of sprinters and stayers, with runners vying for a State Final position and the chance to represent NSW in Tasmania on August 25 for $75,000.

NSW’s Sprint series has attracted national attention with Group 1 Maturity victor Barcia Bale to line up in heat two. Barcia Bale, which continued his unbeaten run last Saturday night at The Meadows will meet seven in form greyhounds, all of which have been in the money within their last four starts.

The remaining State Sprint heats include Bulli 472m track record holder Exclusive One, which set the sizzling 25.87 record last Monday night (July 30) ahead of other heat runners Chiseled and Thunder Lee.

While the sprinters have drawn plenty of attention, the two NSW Distance heats will ensure the State is well represented in Tasmania with a number of up and coming stayers contesting the series.

Credentialed greyhound He Knows Uno headlines the series, coming off his Group 3 AWM Distance Championship at The Meadows last Saturday night (July 28). He Knows Uno meets recent Wentworth Park winners Irish Marina and Light Fantastic in heat two.

Dawn Garrett’s Zsa Zsa remains the other runner to watch, after setting the 701m track record on Monday night (July 30) at 40.43.
